Jeff is an Associate Consultant with Leading Edge and has an incredible
amount of business experience. He brings to life his inputs
on finance and business accounting with his unique sense of humour (yes – an
accountant with a sense of humour! Now that is funny!).
His professional career began as an Accountant in public practice and included
a year on secondment to Colgate Palmolive. He subsequently moved into industry
and became Financial Controller at Roan Consolidated Mines in Zambia. On
his return to the UK he became Group Financial Controller to a construction
and manufacturing group before qualifying as a Management Consultant and
spending eight years as Senior Consultant at the management training and
consultancy arm of the BEC. He branched out on his own in 1989.
Jeff has worked with a wide variety of private sector and local government organisations as both a consultant and trainer, and has developed innovative programmes in finance, business development and communications.
He has also taken a leading team-building role in several high-profile Joint Ventures, Partnerings, an award-winning PFI and is also a working director in two companies, having recently successfully concluded a joint venture company (PPP) with a City Council.
More recently, he has become a Construction Best Practice Adviser (and Trainer ) and is also a member of the Inland Revenue Consultative Committee for the Cambridgeshire area.
